FOLEY 2-WAY permanent catheter is made from silicone (100%) with smooth surfaces and specially processed drainage “eyes”.
It is retained using a 5-10cm3 balloon and is 40 cm in length. Also, due to its construction, the feeling of friction between the catheter and the sensitive urethral mucosa is reduced, as is the slightest risk of a long-lasting injury to the area.
Silicone material allows for extended periods of indwelling use: up to 2 months.
